1. Contractual Agreement
By accessing, browsing, or using the website at www.finmaster.ca (the "Site") and by registering for any of the free educational workshops provided by FinMaster Toronto ("we," "us," or "our"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound legally by these comprehensive Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using this platform.
2. Educational Purpose and No Financial Advice
Critical Disclaimer: All content, materials, seminars, frameworks, and discussions provided by FinMaster Toronto are entirely for educational and informational purposes only. We provide general frameworks for budgeting and financial literacy.
We are NOT acting as your fiduciary, certified financial planner, investment advisor, or legal counsel. Nothing we provide should be construed as personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. You act strictly at your own financial risk. You are strongly encouraged to consult a licensed professional before making any major financial decisions.
3. Workshop Registration and Conduct
Our workshops are offered 100% free of charge to the community. Because seats are strictly limited to ensure quality, we enforce the following rules:
- You must provide accurate contact information during registration.
- If you cannot attend, you agree to notify us at least 24 hours in advance so your seat may be given to someone on the waitlist.
- We demand a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free environment. We reserve the right to refuse entry or dismiss any participant who disrupts the learning environment.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All curriculum design, digital workbooks, texts, graphics, logos, and frameworks (such as our unique budgeting models) are the exclusive intellectual property of FinMaster Toronto and are protected by Canadian and International Copyright laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial license to use the materials provided to you. You may NOT reproduce, resell, distribute, or publicly present our curriculum without express written authorization.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Ontario and Canada, FinMaster Toronto and its instructors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your reliance on our educational content. We make no guarantees regarding financial outcomes, debt reduction, or savings increases.
6. Third-Party Links and Resources
Our Site and workshop materials may contain links to third-party tools (e.g., Canadian banking apps, government calculators). These links are provided solely for convenience. We do not endorse and are not directly responsible for the functionality, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party websites.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or your participation in our workshops shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Ontario.
8. Updates to these Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to this URL. Continued use of our site indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
